The CDC just released updated guidelines for people who test positive for Covid. The 5-day quarantine is no longer recommended. As is the case with influenza, head colds, and other infections, medical experts still recommend staying home until you are clearly improving and have been fever-free for 24 hours without taking fever-reducing medications like Advil or Tylenol.
