There are new recommendations for international travelers to reduce the risk of contracting measles

Vaccines

The CDC recently updated guidelines for the mumps, measles, and rubella (MMR) vaccine for international travelers. The guidelines recommend all international travelers be fully immunized with 2 doses of MMR. Most of us received 2 doses in childhood. However, immunity can fade over time. If you are planning a trip, we can do a blood test to check for immunity and arrange for you to received MMR booster vaccinations if necessary.
